LG televisions run webOS. Like Samsung, LG does not allow Android apps, so IPTV runs through players in the LG Content Store. Which ones you see depends on your country and on how old the TV is; older webOS versions get fewer apps.
Apps to look for
- IPTV Smarters Pro: type your Xtream login straight into the TV.
- IBO Player and Smart IPTV: add your playlist on the app maker's website using the MAC address the TV shows.
- SS IPTV: free, uses an M3U link added through its website.
- Smart STB: for MAG-style portals.
Adding Viking IPTV
- Open the Content Store, search for the app and install it.
- Open the app once to see its MAC address or login screen.
- For Smarters: choose Xtream Codes and type server, username and password from your welcome email.
- For MAC-based apps: on your phone, enter the MAC on the app maker's site, paste your M3U link (and the EPG link for the guide), save, then restart the app on the TV.

Common LG problems
The app is not in the store. Check whether the TV's region is set to your country. If it still is not listed, the model is too old for that app; try SS IPTV or use a streaming stick.
Channels play without sound. Some streams use audio formats older webOS versions do not decode. Switch the app's player engine if it offers one, or try a different app for that channel.
