Smart IPTV, often called SIPTV, is one of the oldest IPTV players for smart TVs. It is basic but reliable, and it uses the same website-based method as IBO Player.
Upload your playlist
- Install Smart IPTV from your TV's store and open it. Note the MAC address.
- On your phone or computer, go to the app's official playlist page (siptv.app, "My List").
- Enter the MAC, paste the M3U link from your Viking IPTV email, and tick Keep online so the list refreshes.
- Add the EPG link in the EPG field.
- Press Send, then restart the app on the TV.
Activation
After a short trial, Smart IPTV asks for a one-time activation per TV, paid on its website. Your IPTV subscription is separate.
Using it
The remote's up and down keys change channel; the menu button opens the playlist; the yellow or info button shows the guide. It is simpler than Smarters but very light, which suits older TVs.
When to choose another app
If you want a full grid guide or multi-screen features, IBO Player or a streaming stick with TiviMate gives you more. Smart IPTV is best for "switch on and watch" households.
