The Viking IPTV Blog keeps a checked list of IPTV providers and a practical buying and setup strategy for each one. This page explains who we are, how we check providers and what we do not do.
Who publishes this blog
The blog is published by Viking IPTV, an IPTV subscription service. That means we sell a product in the same market as the providers we cover. We say so on every guide, we link to every listed provider's own website, and we do not rank providers against Viking IPTV.
How we check providers
- Every site, every time. We open every provider homepage on our list, follow redirects, and record the status, final address and page title.
- Failures are re-tested with and without
www, over http and https, with a DNS lookup, before anything is removed. - Screenshots. Each live homepage is captured and shown in its guide, so you can see what we saw.
- Facts come from the store's own page: plan prices, device lists, apps, contact and payment options. Where a figure is the store's own claim (such as channel counts), we label it that way.
- Removal. Sites that no longer resolve, have expired or redirect somewhere unrelated are removed and listed in the update log.
What we do not do
- We have not bought a subscription from every provider, so we do not publish star ratings, scores or customer reviews.
- We do not accept payment from listed providers for placement.
- We do not give legal advice. Make sure any IPTV service you use is licensed for the content in your country.
Update history
- Latest check: full check of 96 sites; 4 removed, 2 addresses updated, screenshots added. Details.
