4K IPTV Subscription: 13 providers compared

Ultra-HD focused stores. Worth it only if your TV, streaming box and connection can carry real 4K, so each guide starts with how to verify that.

How to choose in this category

The first four steps from every guide below.

  1. Run a speed test on the TV itself, not your phone. 4K streams need a steady 25 to 50 Mbps; the number on the TV is the one that counts.
  2. Use a player that can show stream info (TiviMate, IBO Player or IPTV Smarters). Open a channel marked 4K or UHD and check the resolution reads 3840x2160, not 1920x1080.
  3. Test the 4K channels during a big live match or Saturday evening, when servers are busiest. That is when upscaled or overloaded streams show themselves.
  4. Plug the box in with Ethernet if you can. Most 4K buffering complaints are Wi-Fi problems, not provider problems.
