Samsung TVs run Tizen, Samsung's own system. You cannot sideload Android apps on them, so you are limited to players in the Samsung Apps store. The good news: several solid IPTV players are there, and once set up a Samsung TV is one of the easiest ways to watch, with no extra box and one remote.
Which apps are available
The selection changes by country and TV year, so open Apps on the TV and search for each name.

App fees, where charged, go to the app maker and are separate from your IPTV plan.
Setup with an MAC-based app (IBO Player example)
- Install IBO Player from Samsung Apps and open it. Note the MAC address and device key on screen.
- On your phone, open the IBO Player website and its playlist page.
- Enter the MAC and key, then add your Xtream details or M3U link from the Viking IPTV welcome email.
- Save, then restart the app on the TV. Your channels appear within a minute.
Setup with IPTV Smarters
Open the app, pick Login with Xtream Codes API, give the account any name, then type server, username and password. Typing on a TV remote is slow, so check every character before saving.
Getting a smooth picture
Samsung TVs from recent years handle Full HD and 4K streams well. If the picture stutters, the TV's Wi-Fi is often the weak point: TVs have small antennas, often behind a metal stand. An Ethernet cable fixes most of it. In Settings, General, Network you can also check the TV is on the 5 GHz band.
When the app disappears
Samsung occasionally removes IPTV apps from its store in some regions. An installed app normally keeps working, but do not reset the TV without checking it is still available. If you lose access, a Fire TV Stick in the HDMI port is a cheap, reliable backup; see the Firestick walkthrough.

Can I install IPTV Smarters on any Samsung TV?
Only where Samsung lists it in your country's store. If it is missing, IBO Player or Smart IPTV usually are available.
Why does my Samsung TV IPTV app ask for a MAC address?
MAC-based apps load your playlist from the app maker's website. The MAC identifies your TV there.
Is the IBO Player fee part of my Viking subscription?
No. It is a one-time fee charged by the app maker after its trial.
