IPTV works on phone but not on TV

A useful clue: it narrows the problem down fast.

Viking IPTV Editorial Team · 3 min read

If your phone plays the channel and the TV does not, the subscription and server are fine. The problem is the TV side.

Is the phone on mobile data?

If yes, switch the phone to your home Wi-Fi and test again. If it now fails on the phone too, the problem is your home network or ISP, not the TV. See ISP throttling.

Connection limits

If your plan allows one device and the phone is playing, the TV will be refused. Close the app on the phone completely, not just minimise it.
