# TiviMate setup guide

> TiviMate setup on Firestick and Android TV: add an Xtream Codes playlist, load the TV guide, build favourites and decide whether Premium is worth it.

TiviMate looks and feels like a cable box: a full-screen guide, quick channel switching and a remote-first design. It runs on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV devices (not on iPhone, Samsung or [LG TVs](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/iptv-on-lg-smart-tv/)).

## Install

- **Android TV / Google TV**: Google Play.
- **Fire TV**: check the Appstore first; if it is not listed in your region, use Downloader with the developer's official address. Never install a "Premium unlocked" copy.

## Add your playlist

- Open TiviMate and choose **Add playlist**.
- Select **[Xtream Codes](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/xtream-codes-login-explained/)**.
- Enter the server address, username and password from your Viking IPTV welcome email.
- TiviMate shows how many channels it found. Press Next, give the playlist a name, and finish.

The TV guide comes with an Xtream login. If you used an [M3U link](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/m3u-playlist-explained/) instead, add the EPG link under **Settings, [EPG](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/epg-tv-guide-explained/)**.
