# Smart IPTV (SIPTV): how to upload your playlist

Smart IPTV, often called SIPTV, is one of the oldest IPTV players for smart TVs. It is basic but reliable, and it uses the same website-based method as [IBO Player](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/ibo-player-setup-guide/).

## Upload your playlist

- Install Smart IPTV from your TV's store and open it. Note the **MAC address**.
- On your phone or computer, go to the app's official playlist page (siptv.app, "My List").
- Enter the MAC, paste the [M3U link](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/m3u-playlist-explained/) from your Viking IPTV email, and tick **Keep online** so the list refreshes.
- Add the [EPG](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/epg-tv-guide-explained/) link in the EPG field.
- Press **Send**, then restart the app on the TV.

## Activation

After a short trial, Smart IPTV asks for a one-time activation per TV, paid on its website. Your IPTV subscription is separate.

## Using it

The remote's up and down keys change channel; the menu button opens the playlist; the yellow or info button shows the guide. It is simpler than Smarters but very light, which suits older TVs.
