> What to check for USA channels on IPTV: networks, local affiliates, sports networks, time zones and using US channels abroad.

US television mixes national networks, local affiliates in every market, cable channels and regional sports networks. IPTV packages handle these differently, so check what matters to you.

## Checklist

Type | What to confirm |
National networks | East and West feeds |
Local affiliates | Your market or a nearby one |
Cable news | The channels you follow |
Sports networks | National and regional |
Spanish-language | If your household watches them |

## East or West feeds

Prime time is three hours later on the West Coast. Choose the feed that matches your evening, or use the other one to catch a show you missed.

## Abroad

Viking IPTV includes a USA package and can be used abroad, so American expats can keep their channels. Set the guide to local time or keep it on US time; just be consistent.
