## Log in

- Open the app and pick **Login with [Xtream Codes](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/xtream-codes-login-explained/) API**.
- Any name, then server URL, username and password from your Viking IPTV email.
- Tap **Add user**. The app downloads channels and guide.

## The home screen

Smarters splits content into Live TV, the guide, and a few extras. **Live TV** is where you will spend your time; use the search and favourites (heart icon). The **Install [EPG](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/epg-tv-guide-explained/)** button refreshes the guide if it looks empty.

## Common messages

- Invalid username or password: check spaces and capital letters; paste rather than type.
- Unable to connect: the server address needs http:// and sometimes a port.
- Playback error on one channel: in Settings, Player selection, switch between the built-in and VLC player.
