# IPTV provider gone offline? What to do next

> What to do when your IPTV provider stops working or its website disappears: quick checks, refunds, cleaning up devices and choosing a safe replacement.

IPTV stores come and go. In our last full check, 4 of 96 provider sites were dead, expired or showing someone else's content. If your channels stop and the store's website is gone, work through these steps before buying again.

## 1. Confirm it is really the provider

- Test the same login in a second app; if both fail with the same error, the problem is not your app.
- Try mobile data instead of home Wi-Fi to rule out your internet provider.
- Open the store's website from your own bookmark, not a search result.
- Check the store's contact channel for an announcement.

## 2. Ask for help or a refund

If the store still answers, ask what happened and how long it will last. If the service is gone and you paid by card recently, your card provider may be able to help; keep the receipt, the welcome email and screenshots.

## 3. Clean up your devices

- Remove the old playlist from your apps so they stop retrying a dead server.
- Uninstall any app the store asked you to install that you do not recognise.
- Change any password you reused with that store.

## 4. Choose a replacement carefully

This is when people are most likely to land on a copycat site using the old brand name. Start from a checked list such as our [provider directory](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/best-iptv-providers/), run the [twelve checks](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/how-to-check-an-iptv-provider/), and buy one month only.

## 5. Avoid the same problem next time

- Prefer shorter plans until a store has run reliably for a while.
- Keep your welcome email and the exact domain.
- Check that the store answers questions before you pay.

We re-check every provider in this blog and remove the ones that go offline; the [provider list update](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/iptv-provider-list-update/) lists recent removals.

## Questions

**Why did my IPTV stop working?**

Check your app, your internet and the store's own site; if all point to the store, the provider may have gone offline.

**Can I get my money back if an IPTV store disappears?**

If you paid by card recently, your card provider may help; keep the receipt and screenshots.

**How do I avoid losing money on a long plan?**

Start with one month and move to long plans only after a store has proven reliable.
