# IPTV on Roku: what actually works

Roku is a great streaming platform for the big apps, but it is the hardest for IPTV. ## Roku TVs

Roku-branded televisions (TCL, Hisense and others) have the same limitation. Your Roku TV still has HDMI ports, though, and a stick plugged into one gives you IPTV with the TV's own remote controlling volume.
