# IPTV on an LG smart TV (webOS)

LG televisions run webOS. Like Samsung, LG does not allow Android apps, so IPTV runs through players in the **LG Content Store**. Which ones you see depends on your country and on how old the TV is; older webOS versions get fewer apps.

## Common LG problems

**The app is not in the store.** Check whether the TV's region is set to your country. If it still is not listed, the model is too old for that app; try SS IPTV or use a streaming stick.

**Channels play without sound.** Some streams use audio formats older webOS versions do not decode. Switch the app's player engine if it offers one, or try a different app for that channel.
