# IPTV TV guide not loading: fixes

The [TV guide](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/epg-tv-guide-explained/) (EPG) is downloaded separately from the channels. That is why channels can work perfectly while the guide is blank.

## If the whole guide is empty

- **Using an [M3U link](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/m3u-playlist-explained/)?** Add the EPG link from your welcome email in the player's EPG settings. Xtream logins usually include the guide automatically.
- **Update the guide manually**: [TiviMate](https://blog.vikingiptvofficial.com/tivimate-iptv-setup/) (Settings, EPG, Update), Smarters (Install EPG), IBO (refresh on the website).
- **Wait**: large guides take a few minutes on the first load.

## If some channels have no guide
