# IPTV audio out of sync

When voices do not match lips, the delay is added somewhere: the stream, the player, the TV's picture processing or the soundbar.

## Fixes

- **Change channel and back**: a small drift after long viewing often resets.

- **TV game or PC mode**: heavy picture processing delays video; a lighter mode reduces it.

- **Passthrough off**: decoding audio in the streaming device can align it better on some setups.
