# IPTV says "expired": what it really means

"Expired" can mean three different things, and only one of them is your subscription.

Message comes from | Meaning | Fix |

Your subscription | The plan's end date passed | Renew from your provider's site | 
An old playlist | You renewed but the app holds the old details | Refresh or re-add the playlist | 

## How to tell

- If the message mentions activation or MAC, it is the app.
- If your order date plus plan length has passed, it is the subscription.
- If you just renewed, refresh the playlist or update the login if it changed.
